Two dozen paintings are presented here, united by a common theme. And most importantly, all of them are painted using oil.

The author himself says that it (oil) has always been close, as his entire Rechytsa family is somehow connected with working with black gold.

The artist noted that working with oil is very difficult.

«Even after a month of drying, the smell still remains, but it's no longer as strong. When creating paintings, I use a respirator, and I also have a large room where I create the paintings,» — said Kiryl Mikhalenka.

According to him, there are only four artists in the world who paint with oil.

«Everything that can be seen in the artworks is only an abstraction. Everyone sees what they want to see,» — says the author.

It is worth noting that when creating his works, Kiryl Mikhalenka used linen — a popular Belarusian material.

The exhibition will be available until February 1, 2026, at the address: Minsk, Nekrasova St., 3.

You can view the works from Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00. The entrance ticket price is from Br4 to Br15.
