At 'Belarusneft' gas stations, you can buy not only gasoline or diesel, but also have a snack and coffee. One of the gas station customers noticed something new on the menu: «Tytskala in creamy sauce with baked potatoes in their skins». The price is not high — 13.99 rubles, writes Telegraf.news.

«Have you ever heard of tytskala?» — the girl asked on the Threads social network. In response, she received hesitant «no»s. Only one of her subscribers said that in her area, it was called machanka.

In fact, tytskala is a traditional Belarusian hot dish and a type of thick sauce. Meat, salo (pork fat), onions, and mushrooms are added to it. The sauce is usually served with baked or fried potatoes, which should be «dipped» into the sauce.

This dish can be found not only at gas stations. Tytskala is available for delivery in Minsk, and it's also one of the most popular dishes in restaurants in Brest and Grodno.
