How ordinary politeness saved a Minsk resident's life
A tragic incident almost occurred on January 10 in the capital. On Karastayanova Street, a young man miraculously avoided injuries, thanks to his politeness when exiting the building entrance.
The incident was captured by a surveillance camera. It was published by blogger Kakabay.
The recording shows a guy leaving the house, but instead of immediately walking away, he stops for a few seconds to hold the door for a girl who was standing outside and couldn't get into the entrance.
It was this short moment that separated him from trouble. When the guy walked away, a window frame suddenly fell right in front of him.
The young man effectively got a second birth, as an ordinary act of politeness saved him from disaster.
