Workers at a construction site worked in summer footwear in freezing temperatures
The Minsk Prosecutor's Office found serious violations of labor protection at one of the capital's construction sites. During the inspection, it was revealed that some builders worked outdoors in freezing temperatures in summer textile footwear, which provided no protection from cold, moisture, or slippery surfaces.

In addition, workers reported that during the cold period, they were not given additional breaks for warming up during the workday. This contradicts sanitary and epidemiological requirements, according to which people working in unfavorable temperature conditions must be provided with special clothing, protective footwear, and other personal protective equipment.
The inspection also showed that first-aid kits were absent at the construction site, the walls of the welfare facilities had defects and did not provide adequate thermal comfort. Tools and materials were stored without special fixtures, which created a risk of them falling and injuring workers.
As a result, the prosecutor of Zavodski District of Minsk issued an order to the head of the organization, demanding the immediate elimination of the identified deficiencies and bringing the responsible officials to disciplinary action.
