Former Deputy Chairman of the BNF Anatol Fyodarau Suffers Stroke Live During Piatrukhin's Stream
The activist is known on Facebook as Baliaslau Volat — a radical opponent of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and a colleague of Dzmitry Balkunets in his "Ultimatums".

On January 23, Anatol Fyodarau appeared on blogger Siarhei Piatrukhin's stream. In the last minutes of the video, he made viewers worry about him — it was noticeable that the elderly activist had difficulty speaking.
As Fyodarau's friends told Nasha Niva, the activist suffered a stroke live during the broadcast. In the evening after the broadcast, an ambulance took him away. Fyodarau can already speak, but friends say he faces a long recovery path.
72-year-old Anatol Fyodarau is a long-time BNF activist. He participated in the dissident movement back in Soviet times. He was the Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Popular Front and headed the Mahilioŭ branch. In 2020, he participated in protests and was detained for days.
In emigration, he created the "National Democratic Platform", supports Dzmitry Balkunets in his initiatives like the "Ultimatum to Lukashenka", and sharply criticizes Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office.
On social media, Fyodarau uses the nickname Baliaslau Volat — that's how he was introduced in the description of Piatrukhin's stream.
