Minsk motorcycles begin to be produced in Vyazma, Smolensk region
The Vyazma Machine-Building Plant in the Smolensk region has started licensed assembly of Minsk motorcycles. The enterprise has already released the first batch of equipment. This was announced by the governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Anokhin, during a meeting with the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, Yury Seliverstov, writes Abw.by.
According to Vasily Anokhin, the first batch of motorcycles was assembled in 2025. Their official presentation is planned to take place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2026, which will be held from June 3 to 6.
The plant produces "Hunter" and "Ranger" models. They are assembled from Belarusian machine kits, after which they undergo testing before being sold on the Russian market. Thus, Vyazma has become another assembly site for products of the "MotoVeloZavod" company.
The "Hunter" model is equipped with a 150 cubic centimeter engine, and the "Ranger" with a 200 cubic centimeter engine. These motorcycles are considered easy to operate and popular among hunting and fishing enthusiasts, as well as novice motorcyclists.
