"Any attempts by the enemy to attack Iranian shores or islands will lead to all passages and transport lines in the Persian Gulf and along the coast being mined with various naval mines, including floating mines, according to standard military practice," the publication stated.
The only way for neutral countries to pass through the Strait of Hormuz is to coordinate transit with Tehran, the agency said. Iran's Defense Council also declared its "commitment to a decisive and destructive response to any infringements."
On Saturday evening, Trump gave Iran 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz, which connects the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean.
