Belarusians Spend Nearly Half Income on Food
While Lithuanians spend third and Russians — quarter.

RIA Novosti analysts rated several countries according to food expenses. The more is spent on food, the lower is the position of the country.
Belarus turned out to be near the bottom. Because of low income and high food prices Belarusians spend more that 40% of their salaries on food. We pay twice more than Poles and thrice more than Luxembourgers who are the leaders of the rating. At least we beat Ukraine.
