Belarusian Delegation Pays Visit to Venezuela
Economic cooperation issues are on agenda
A Belarusian government delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister Uladzimir Siamashka began its two-day visit to Venezuela on Wednesday, May 30, Belarusian FM press office reports. The delegation also includes Deputy Foreign Minister Siarhiej Aliejnik, and representatives of the ministries of construction, industry, agriculture, and energy.
While in Venezuela, the Belarusian officials will discuss “the most important points” on the agenda of Belarusian–Venezuelan relations and visits a number of joint facilities, including plants that build trucks, tractors and road construction equipment, as well as a construction materials plant, residential houses and an agro-town developed under joint projects, said the press office.
The delegation will meet with top officials of the Venezuelan ministries of foreign affairs, industry, energy and mines, housing and habitat, agriculture and land, as well as managers of a number of local companies, said the press office.
