Meet Prehistoric Belarusian ‘Bug’
An amazing finding was made in Salihorsk salt mine.
A 30-cm long ancient petrified creature was found by the potassium producers.
The prehistoric bug turned to be Eurypterid stylonurus which lived in Devonian period and became extinct 251mln years ago.
This individual is rather a small one: stylonurus reached 2 meters’ length. Maybe, somewhere in the depth of Salihorsk mines, his bigger fellow lurks…
