Two Russians Killed in Collision of Passenger Car and Lorry

Father asked his younger under age son to drive as he became tired.

Two men were killed in the collision of Russian KIA Cerato and Belarusian lorry MAZ which occurred in Homiel region, Belarus, on August 8.

KIA Cerato was carrying three passengers, the citizens of Russia, onliner.by informs. Two of them have not come of age yet. However, the father who previously had been driving for a long time asked his younger son, 17, to drive the car as he became tired.

Around 10:00 local time KIA Cerato ran into the roadside and what caused uncontrolled skid. The car got into the oncoming traffic lane and was hit by the lorry at its right side. The car owner, born in 1965, was killed at once. His older son (born in 1991) died at hospital 7 hours after the collision.

The only survivor — the 17-year-old-male — now remains in hospital with head, chest and abdominal injuries.
