The court to announce the sentence to Anders Breivik who murdered 77 people today, on August 24.
Ila Detention and Security Prison in Norway is ready to receive gunman Anders Breivik regardless of whether the Oslo court is going to sentence the murderer of 77 people to imprisonment or closed psychiatric care, the governor of Ila prison, Knut Bjarkeid, informs.
"We are ready to receive Mr. Behring Breivik if he is sentenced to preventive detention (prison) and also if he is sentenced to compulsory psychiatric care," he said.
The detention facility has prepared three rooms for Breivik: a bedroom, a gym and a working cabinet.
All the furniture is mounted into the floor. Breivik has no direct internet access, however the offline version of Wikipedia is at his service.
Breivik also has its own yard for walks which is fenced with a tall concrete wall and barbwire.
On July 22, 2011, Breivik set off a car bomb outside the government offices in Oslo, killing eight people, before going to the island of Utoeya, northwest of the capital, where he spent more than an hour gunning down another 69 people, mostly teenagers, attending a Labour Party youth camp.
The court is to announce the sentence to Anders Breivik today, on August 24.
