The flight reported to be hijacked en route from Malaga to Amsterdam experienced no hostage situation, AP writes.
The incident was caused by misunderstanding between the pilot and air traffic controller. However, it is unclear what definitely caused the emergency situation, Kommersant says.
However, the plane (identified as VY 8366) was escorted to Schiphol by two F16 fighter jets.
The Airbus of Spanish company Vueling had total 180 passengers on board.
