Russian pro-government blogger and author of denunciations Ilya Remeslo, who suddenly became disillusioned with the current Russian government and spoke out against Vladimir Putin, was sent to a psychiatric clinic.

In St. Petersburg, pro-government blogger and lawyer Ilya Remeslo, who was previously known for his years-long struggle against Alexei Navalny and criminal cases against the FBK, was hospitalized in psychiatric hospital No. 3. This information, initially spread by Z-channels, was later confirmed by «Fontanka» directly in the information service of the medical institution.
Channels report that since the morning of March 19, Remeslo, who the day before gave a series of interviews with anti-Putin statements, stopped answering phone calls and did not appear on social networks for several hours.
A sharp turn in the blogger's fate occurred after on March 17 he published a manifesto «Five Reasons Why I Stopped Supporting Vladimir Putin».
In his text, Remeslo called the war with Ukraine a dead end, stated the destruction of the Russian economy, the stifling of free speech, and the president's excessively long stay in power.
