Merz, Macron, and Starmer Discussed Ukraine Situation with Trump
German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed the situation in Ukraine with US President Donald Trump, the German Federal Chancellery reported.

«The four heads of state and government discussed the status of ceasefire negotiations in Ukraine. Intensive work on a peace plan must continue in the coming days. They agreed that this is a decisive moment for Ukraine and for overall security in the Euro-Atlantic space,» the chancellery's website stated.
Keir Starmer's office also confirmed the conversation but noted that "intensive work on the peace plan is ongoing and will continue in the coming days."
«The leaders discussed the latest news on ongoing peace talks under US auspices, welcoming their efforts aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace for Ukraine and an end to the killings. Intensive work on the peace plan is ongoing and will continue in the coming days. They agreed that this is a critical moment — for Ukraine, its people, and for overall security in the entire Euro-Atlantic region,» the office of the British Prime Minister said.
