The Hippo hypermarket in the Diamond City shopping center is closing. The store will not operate from February 14, they replied to a reader of Realt publication on Instagram.
On Thursday evening, there were very few people in this "Hippo", and the store was apparently already being prepared for closure: near the entrance, instead of shelves with discounts, there was a lot of free space, the meat department was empty, and there were noticeably fewer goods on the shelves.
What store will replace "Hippo" has not yet been announced. "Hippo" has been operating in Diamond City since its opening in 2018.
