Putin called Khamenei's assassination a cynical violation of all norms of morality and law
The assassination of Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei and his family was committed with a cynical violation of all norms of human morality and international law. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telegram of condolences to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

"Please accept my deep condolences in connection with the assassination of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, and members of his family, committed with a cynical violation of all norms of human morality and international law," — reads the telegram published on the Kremlin's website.
"I ask you to convey words of the most sincere sympathy and support to the Supreme Leader's relatives and loved ones, the government, and all the people of Iran," — Putin added.
"In our country, Ayatollah Khamenei will be remembered as an outstanding statesman who made a huge personal contribution to the development of friendly Russian-Iranian relations, bringing them to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership," — reads the message.
Iran has become one of Russia's most important partners in the aggression against Ukraine — it supplied weapons (especially the well-known "Shahed" drones), as well as military technologies.
Alexander Lukashenka has not yet commented on Khamenei's death from the US and Israeli attack.
