Belarus Initiates Charter of Multipolarity with Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Myanmar
Igor Sekret, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, announced that Minsk, together with Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, and Russia, has agreed to create a group of countries to prepare and sign the so-called Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century.

According to the official:
"We do not seek to apply a single political or civilizational yardstick to everyone. Our main principle is inclusiveness. If a state considers itself Eurasian and wishes to participate in processes of strengthening collective security and prosperity of our great continent, then its participation in negotiations on the charter is entirely welcomed."
Belarus, as the initiator of the idea, has declared its readiness to lead the negotiation process. At the same time, the MFA representative admitted that, for some reason, most countries of the European Union and NATO have not expressed interest in participating in this initiative, even though Europe is geographically part of the Eurasian space.
Igor Sekret emphasized that the doors remain open for European states, and should their position change, they will be able to join the drafting of the document.
He did not specify which countries have shown interest in this charter in general. However, he is convinced that "by September its composition will significantly expand."
