The main goal of the organizing committee is to define the main priorities and messages of this year's celebration, as well as to establish coordination between event organizers in different countries and cities. The committee will facilitate better interaction of initiatives and support diasporas in preparing actions.
The next meeting is scheduled for this week and will have an expanded format. Diaspora representatives and event organizers from around the world are invited to participate.
In recent years, Freedom Day events have been held in various countries and organized independently by Belarusian communities in individual cities.
