Brand New Bridge Across Pripyat Between Luninets and Stolin Districts to Be Built Next Year

The construction of the facility is instructed to be completed by 2027. This project is considered important for the development of Polesia's transport infrastructure and for improving the living conditions of local residents and guests of the region.
Currently, the shortest route between Luninets and Stolin is about 46 kilometers and passes through Pripyat using a ferry crossing. However, this crossing has limitations on vehicle weight and dimensions, and also depends on weather conditions, which can cause inconvenience and disruptions to traffic.
Alternative routes are significantly longer: via Pinsk about 125 kilometers and via Zhitkovichi about 180 kilometers. Therefore, the bridge construction should significantly shorten the route and make it more convenient and reliable.
It is expected that the new bridge will become an important transport artery, ensuring better accessibility to settlements, as well as safe and comfortable movement for all road users.
