On Friday, Austria was affected by heavy snowfalls, which led to the closure of several roads and a temporary suspension of operations at Vienna Airport.
Last night, a cyclone from Italy arrived in the country, bringing significant precipitation. Up to 44 centimeters of snow fell in the Lesachtal valley, and about 32 centimeters in Schrocken. In the east of the country, in the areas of Sankt Pölten, Bad Vöslau, and west of Vienna, up to 20 centimeters of snow were recorded.
