Russian man with a criminal record got into charity in Belarus. Some people start having problems after Uncle Yasha's help
Propagandists also took notice of him: the ONT TV channel aired significant threats against the blogger.

Russian blogger Yashar Alikuzuyev is better known as Uncle Yasha. He builds his content around helping poor families. He has almost 142 thousand subscribers on TikTok and 181 thousand on Instagram.
Previously, Uncle Yasha was involved in charity in Russia and Kazakhstan, and this year he came to Belarus. He made his arrival quite pompous: he recorded a video against the backdrop of the National Library next to a car, on the hood of which a red-green flag was placed.

— We came with the aim of helping families who find themselves in a difficult life situation, — Uncle Yasha said then, urging people to contact him for help.
He started by promoting a fundraiser for eight-year-old Vanya Statsenka, who has a severe genetic disease — Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
But usually, Uncle Yasha helps not with information, but with food and clothing. In Minsk, for example, he visited a woman named Tatiana. She lives without one leg and moves in a wheelchair.
Tatiana complained about her tyrannical husband. She is raising a small son. Her husband abuses alcohol and lays hands on her, and his wife has nowhere to go to escape him.
Uncle Yasha inspects the apartment in a business-like manner, sees that the wallpaper is torn in places, and asks why. The woman explains: the apartment belongs to her mother-in-law, and it used to be even worse here.
When asked how he can help, the mother opens the refrigerator and demonstrates its meager contents:
— I'll show you, and then you decide for yourself.
The blogger's response sounds a bit dismissive:
— Do you need food? And your husband will come later and eat everything…

Uncle Yasha explained: he usually does not help families where there is a father, because he is convinced that a man should provide for his wife and children. But in such cases, if the father and husband have alcohol problems, he makes an exception.
At the time of the blogger's arrival, the woman's husband was at Akrestsina (the woman explains that he was drinking at the stadium in Sierabranka) — otherwise, Uncle Yasha says, he would have had an educational conversation with the man.
As a result, the blogger brought several bags of food and clothes for the boy (he once stated that he spends 350 dollars on each family). The confused woman says she doesn't know how to live on. Because, of course, gifts do not solve the problem globally.
It seems that this no longer interests the blogger very much:
— You have nowhere to go. Well, maybe you need to look for some mutual understanding with him.
People approach Uncle Yasha with various requests. For example, one woman asked him for money for IVF. He replied that he was ready to help make a child for free. And, it seems, he is very proud of this joke, as he posted a screenshot of the correspondence on Instagram.
Despite Uncle Yasha's charitable work, he has faced a wave of criticism. So what angers Belarusians?
Firstly, Uncle Yasha collects donations for his activities. Against the backdrop of the story of the Hrodna bloggers who organized giveaways seemingly in support of Vanya Statsenka, but actually spent most of the money on a luxurious life, many people became interested in whether anyone controls the collection and distribution of money in this case.
Secondly, sometimes he discloses personal information and shows people (including children) in very vulnerable situations. For example, Uncle Yasha filmed a video in Malaryta. There, a mother is raising three children. The video description explicitly states that the father in this family abused the eldest daughter.
During the filming, someone rang the doorbell — probably the family thought it was the father (it turned out to be the grandmother). The horror reflected on the girl's face is indescribable — she is sobbing and wailing. At some point, the mother also cannot hold back her emotions and starts crying. All of this is filmed by Uncle Yasha's team.
Off-screen, a female voice says somewhat irritably: "Why are you crying?! Oh my God, everyone here is crying, trembling…". After that, there is an interview with the mother, who continues to choke back tears — she says that after what happened, her eldest daughter is forced to seek psychiatric treatment.
The video garnered 2 million views. Of course, the question arises as to how ethical it is to show the girl's face and tell her story to a wide audience.
And thirdly, the blogger who helps often behaves quite brazenly. For example, he may force mothers to show their cabinets, and then criticizes them for the mess.
His comments also sometimes seem offensive. For example, while inspecting the refrigerator of a mother from Homel, the blogger declares:
— Katya, you have more meat than I do!
Then he starts sniffing a saucepan:
— Ugh, what smells so bad in your place?! Clean the fridge!
The blogger dedicated several videos to that mother, Katerina. In one of them, he demonstrates cockroaches running around her apartment.
For the woman, Uncle Yasha's help ended in even bigger problems. In another blogger's video, Katerina said that the Russian behaved brazenly: he walked wherever he wanted, looked everywhere — although there was no such agreement before filming.
And after the videos were published on TikTok, the education department became interested in her. Katerina's family was registered as socially dangerous. Now she regularly receives inspections — from both the police and the commission for juvenile affairs.
— I still don't understand why he came to help but started rummaging through the refrigerator, microwave, and cabinets.
Katerina claims that Uncle Yasha even filed a police report against her.
Some Belarusian bloggers started filming their videos criticizing Uncle Yasha. They say, enough shaming the Belarusian people. Among other things, local bloggers claim that the Russian man has a criminal record.
In one of his live streams, Uncle Yasha, driven by emotions, said many things, not really choosing his words:
— Necessary, f***, for school, food, and bringing all this to the family — show me at least one person. Not a single one! These f***ing hype-chasers, f***, paid for some products, f***, for grandmothers at the checkout, f***. Or gave some stroller, f***. Only hype-chasers, bloggers and f***ing idiots. I'll tell everyone that there is not a single person on the territory of Belarus who helps socially, f***, like I do. To come to a family, learn about their internal problem, f***, and help not only physically, materially, but also psychologically.
Что думаете?
Afterwards, he had to make an explanatory video — in it, Uncle Yasha claims that he spoke ill only about Belarusian bloggers, and not about ordinary Belarusians.
ONT has already taken notice of the benefactor blogger. In the "Tik-talk" program, he was included in a selection of dubious bloggers alongside Hrodna bloggers Mikhail Dragun and Yauhenia Tarasenka, who are currently under investigation.
The host criticized Uncle Yasha for being a visiting blogger who rushed to occupy the niche of good ambassadors, but profits from other people's misfortune.

Yashar Alikuzuyev was interviewed briefly. He doesn't believe he did anything wrong in the story with Katerina.
— Now everything is wonderful at her home, it's clean. She was visited by SOP (the blogger probably means guardianship authorities — Nasha Niva). There is no one like me in Belarus (a philanthropic blogger) who would help socially. That is, to visit different families five days a week.
To the direct question: "Do you need content?" — Uncle Yasha replies:
— First of all, there's always a live broadcast. In Belarus, people are not used to families being shown from the inside, that children have nothing to eat.
The host then mockingly says that publications about love for Belarus, which suddenly appeared after ONT's interest in the blogger, are commendable but do not guarantee immunity.
— Uncle Yasha, there's no need to blow smoke. Help in our country for large families in difficult situations — food, clothes, stationery — please. But parents also need to work. Seekers of free cheese fall for sweet offers and then regret becoming heroes of a scandalous video. But the blogger doesn't regret it. Content is monetized. More views, likes — which means more money.

The host emphasizes: Yashar Alikuzuyev has been earning money this way for five years. In one of his streams, he admitted: when he has no cash, when his card is at zero, he hates everyone.
— He talks about his past reluctantly: he has a criminal record. Such a guest, — summarizes the ONT host.
By the way, Uncle Yasha was offended by the report and expressed himself quite uncensored about the ONT editors in his stream.
— She said that on Saturday a full version would be released where I would be in a different context. And for now, they uploaded this bullshit on YouTube and Instagram. They sat there, smiling at me, f***, how they were oh-oh-oh… I'm f***ing amazed, f***.
To demonstrate that Belarusians actually support him, Uncle Yasha edited a video in which various people say what a good person he is (emphasizing their nationality at the same time). But what's strange is that these are not the people he helped at all, but some of his acquaintances.
