«They are simply preparing the ground to launch strikes.» Zelenskyy denied accusation of attack on Putin's residence
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about an alleged attack by 91 Ukrainian drones on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region and accused Russia of lying, writes «Suspilne». He linked the emergence of these accusations with his successful negotiations with US President Donald Trump in Mar-a-Lago.

According to Zelenskyy, Moscow is trying to create an informational background for escalation, as progress in relations between Ukraine and the US is «a failure for the Russians».
«The Russians do not want to end this war. With their statement that some residence was attacked, they are simply preparing the ground to launch strikes on the capital [of Ukraine] and on government buildings,» emphasized the head of state.
Zelenskyy recalled the missile strike on the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in September and urged Ukrainians to be maximally attentive to alarm signals in the near future.
It should be noted that the number of drones announced by Lavrov contradicts the data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, published on the morning of December 29. According to the defense agency's information, during the night, 18 drones were allegedly shot down over the Novgorod region, and then another 23 drones. Lavrov, however, counted only 191.
The Ukrainian military leadership has not yet commented on these accusations.
