Drones struck the coastal city of Tuapse in southern Russia on the night of Wednesday, December 31. Two people were injured.

Residential buildings, a pier in the port, and an oil refinery were damaged, reported the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai.
According to its data, a fire broke out at Rosneft's oil refinery as a result of the attack, which was promptly extinguished. Four apartment buildings, one private residential building, and a gas pipe in the residential sector were damaged.
The Russian Telegram channel Astra and the Ukrainian Exilenova+ published photos of a massive fire at the oil refinery. They show a column of flame soaring several meters high. According to the Telegram channel Shot, 15-20 explosions were heard in the sky over the city.
Since the start of the war, Ukraine has attacked the Tuapse Oil Refinery and Rosneft's export terminal in the city at least eight times. The last time was in November 2025. In several cases, the enterprise temporarily ceased operations.
