In 2020, 21% Voted for Lukashenka. And Only 6% of Youth — Results of a State Poll
The aging dictator completely lost to Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

The independent Belarusian Sociological Group published the results of an electoral poll conducted in 2020 by the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences.
It is unknown the exact dates when it was conducted — the level of fear might depend on this — but it definitely took place after the elections.
The most interesting question is who Belarusians voted for.
The results were as follows:
- Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya — 33.3%
- I do not want to answer this question — 25.7%
- Aliaksandr Lukashenka — 20.9%
- Did not vote — 11.3%
- Against all — 6.6%
- Andrei Dzmitryeu — 1.3%
- Hanna Kanapatskaya — 0.5%
- Siarhei Cherechen — 0.4%
If we exclude those who explicitly stated they did not participate in the vote, it turns out that Lukashenka received 24%, and Tsikhanouskaya 38%.
Tsikhanouskaya had 60% more voters than those who voted for Lukashenka.

The demographic results of the poll are also of interest.
Among young people ( 18‑24 years old), the level of support for Lukashenka and Tsikhanouskaya differed almost 10‑fold — a paltry 5.6% versus 52.4%.
Among the 25‑34 age group, the difference was also enormous — 6.5% for Lukashenka and 45.4% for Tsikhanouskaya.
However, among pensioners (65+), votes for Lukashenka were significantly higher — 46.6% versus 17.2%.
As for Minsk, 35.4% voted for Tsikhanouskaya here, and 14.1% for Lukashenka.
