A Family from Russia Raced Through Belarus at Breakneck Speed, Now Boasts About Number of Paid Fines

Victoria herself is originally from Belarus, but lives with her Russian husband in his homeland. Recently, the Slyatkovs visited the woman's relatives in their Genesis G70 — a premium Hyundai brand. And they decided not to restrain themselves on Belarusian roads.

As a result — more than ten speeding fines totaling over 3600 rubles. The figures on the receipts are striking — hidden cameras recorded speed excesses of 25-76 kilometers per hour.

But Victoria herself sees this as a cause for jokes and even pride. On Threads, she posted a photo with a pile of "letters of happiness" from the traffic police and captioned it: "This is what a trip to Belarus for 100 thousand [Russian] rubles looks like." She also didn't forget to add many emojis. It seems the woman genuinely finds such adventures amusing.

In the comments, Belarusians are outraged by the irresponsible behavior of Victoria and her husband — he was driving the car: "All the brave guys then cry into their fists in court when they send people to the other world. How many such cases have we seen, and how many more, unfortunately, will we see. If you don't want to live yourselves — that's your business. But you're also taking other people to the other world," "And then they get indignant: 'Why are the 'potato people' so dissatisfied?' Here, 'kings' came to our cozy home and are flying through populated areas at 129 kilometers per hour. To put it mildly, disrespect."

Victoria, however, again reacts to this with numerous emojis. She responds that they like to drive fast. And she even confirms that she herself told her husband behind the wheel: "Step on it!"

To the remark: "This is f***ing nuts! 147, 136, where the limits are 60-70... And you seem to be proud of it," the woman wrote: "Yes, we are proud, so what?"

The only thing that upsets Victoria in this whole story is that the navigator didn't warn about hidden traffic police cameras.

Someone tried to joke in response and thanked them for replenishing the Belarusian budget. But most wrote quite harsh comments. Some even asked where to sign a petition to ban this family from entering Belarus and tagged the official account of the Belarusian police.

Someone warned that if the traffic police stop them next time, a mere fine won't be enough — most likely, their driver's license will be revoked.

At the same time, Victoria assures that the fines have already been paid — because they plan to continue visiting relatives in Belarus. And to all the shocked Belarusians, she replies: "We paid for this lawlessness!"
