White-Red-White & Red-Green Flags in Helsinki

Belarusian ice hockey team performance is disappointing, but the fans from all over the world are coming to support it anyway.

Thus, it was supported with national flags during Belarus — France game.

Match on May 14, 2012, was noticeable because on this very day the Nation Symbols of the Republic of Belarus were replaced with the Soviet-like ones.

However, they were Finns — local activists — who had more white-red-white flags than anyone else. These flags were specially ordered by hockey amateurs.

Posters “Free Belarus” and “Lukashenka resign” were also brought to the match.
