According to the National Statistical Committee
3.02 thousand organizations, or 35% of the total companies in Belarus, had the ratio of their working capital and the ratio of the current liquidity below the norm as on April 1. It means that the companies were insolvent. According to the National Statistics Committee, the number of insolvent institutions has increased by 4.6% YTD.
There are more insolvent institutions in the construction industry - 686 companies (48.9%), transport – 255 organizations (43.6%) and health care - 38 organizations (42.7%).
There are also a lot of insolvent institutions in the field of communication (42%), hotel and restaurant business (37.3%) and in industry (36.5%).
Early in April, 22.8% of the organizations, or more than 1.97 thousand, had no working capital, while 14.8%, or more than 1.28 thousand organizations, showed extremely low security of their working capital.
