The European Sambo Championships in Moscow gathered representatives of 33 countries.
Belarusian athletes won 17 medals (two gold, five silver, ten bronze) at the European Sambo Championships in Moscow, reports BelTA.
The men’s team claimed nine medals (two gold, three silver, four bronze).
In the men’s total standings Belarus ranked second behind Russia.
The Belarusian women’s team clinched seven medals (two silver and five bronze). What made Belarus third behind Russia and Ukraine.
In the total rankings Belarus with 17 medals is on the second place. Russia took 24 medals (19, 3, 2), Ukraine – 20 medals (2, 4, 14).
