Belarusian State Committee for Standardization will take part in the General Assemblies of the European Organizations for Standardization CEN and CENELEC in Bulgaria on 6-7 June.
The city of Albena will host the 38th General Assembly of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the 52nd General Assembly of the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization. The First European Standardization Summit will also be hosted there. The Belarusian delegation will hold a number of business meetings and discuss cooperation with the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Belarus has been participating in the CEN and CENELEC General Assemblies since 2010. The State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus is an affiliated member of these organizations. This status enables Belarus to partake in the work of technical committees of these organizations, provides access to the European-standard projects. Today Belarus is represented in more than 60 technical committees of CEN and 13 – of CENELEC.
