The Anti-Crisis Fund Council asserts Belarus complied with the loan requirements.
The EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund approved the allocation of the third tranche of the stabilization loan for Belarus on June 8. The total amount of the tranche is $440mln, BelTA informs.
The EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund loan for Belarus totals $3bln and was assigned on June 4, 2011. However, after allocation of two tranches, the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund stated that Belarus do not comply with the requirements for monetary policy restriction, so the third tranche was unlikely to be transferred.
Yet, Vladimir Putin during his visit to Belarus promised Aliaksandr Lukashenka that the third tranche of the loan was going to be allocated soon.
