Belarusian tennis star hopes to restore her world’s first racket title.
Viktoryja Azarenka, speakling on her plans regarding the current season, said she has already begun her preparations for Wimbledon, which is going to be the last tournament before the major sports event of the last four years — the Olympic Games (27 June-12 August).
The Wimbledon Championships will be held on June 25–July 8 and Azarenka is going to play in the singles and in the mixed doubles with Max Mirny.
Belarus’ tennis player wants to regain the world's first racket title, the position she held for 19 weeks after the victory at the Australian Open. According to Viktoryja Azarenka, current decline in performance is a result of accumulated tiredness.
Azarenka noted that she was happy to visit Minsk where she had not been for a while. She stayed away from a court for a week but resumed training on 11 June.
Regarding Euro-2012 hosted by Poland and Ukraine, Viktoryja Azarenka said that she supports Spain and keeps an eye on Ukraine and Russia.
