The park will be set in Saviecki district, where multiple Khrushchev-era blocks of flats are situated.
The park infrastructure will resemble the one of the Soviet-times. The appropriate benches, telephone booths and other objects of the epoch are going to be installed in the park.
One of central spots is reserved for the monument to Lenin which is to be moved from some other location.
All Homielers are invited to participate in the development of the park.
“We have many creative people that’s why we want the youth, mass media and all interested people, but not only the officials, to develop the brand ‘Soviet’ and to participate in the creation of the park,” Alieh Vialichka said.
