Rock-Paper-Scissors? Janken Wins Anyway!

Japanese developers created unbeatable rock-paper-scissors game robot.

Japanese engineers from Ishikawa Oku Laboratory (in Tokyo University) presented a robot will always beat you in rock-paper-scissors game, The Daily Mail reports.

The robot named Janken works by recognizing the opponent’s hand position and shape with a high speed camera, and countering with a winning move in 1 millisecond (the cheat is not visibile to the human eye).

The aim of the project was to show the possibilities of human–robot cooperation.
