Portugal leaved Euro 2012. Italy and Spain will fight for the cup.
The second finalist of Euro 2012 became known on June 28. Italian national team defeated Germany 2:1. The both goals were scored by Italian forward Mario Balotelli, both during the first half.
Mario Balotelli was born in Palermo. His parents were Ghanaian immigrants Thomas and Rose Barwuah.
As an infant, he had life-threatening complications with his intestines which led to a series of operations, although his condition had improved by 1992. Mario's health problems and the family's cramped living conditions meant the Barwuahs decided to ask for the help of social services who recommended that he be fostered.
In 1993, the Barwuah family agreed to entrust the three-year-old boy to Francesco and Silvia Balotelli, his new foster family from Concesio, Brescia, with the legal move formalized by the Court of Brescia.
Even in spite of his biological parents return after Mario became famous, he always asserted he has only one family — the Balotellis.
The reporters of Euro 2012 caught a touching moment of Mario giving a kiss to his mom after everyone realized he was the king of that evening.
At that time an unpleasant but still funny incident occurred with Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo in Donetsk airport.
After Portugal team — which reached the quarterfinal and was kicked off by Spain — was landing the plane, Cristiano was away purchasing… a bun. This made him wait for several hours before another flight and the bun gave Cristiano indigestion.
“And then I went to get a Cinnabon and the plane took off without me. It's an injustice. And that Cinnabon gave me indigestion,” the forward complaint.
