If you won one, you would probably also carry it everywhere.
Brazilian judoka Felipe Kitadai accidentally broke his bronze Olympic medal when he was taking shower in Olympic village room.
The athlete was overexcited about his result and carried the medal everywhere. He also decided to take the medal to shower to protect it from any incidents.
When in shower, Kitadai put the medal between his teeth in order not to stain it with soap. However, he dropped the medal and the medal holder got broken.
“I took it with me everywhere,” said Kitadai. “I even took it into the shower, but I was afraid to get it wet so put it in my mouth while I soaped myself. But it ended up slipping.”
Kitadai has already asked the Olympic Committee for replacement and, probably, he will be given one.
