Soviet Flag-Painted Porsche Barred from Entering Lithuania

Young communist driver chose going back home by car, but not continuing his trip by bus.

On Monday’s night, July 30, a young Belarusian communist (26) tried to enter Lithuania on his Soviet flag painted Porsche 996, delfi.lt says.

Lithuanian customs officers noticed golden hammer, sickle and star painted on red engine hood — the symbols depicted on the Soviet Union flag.

Public demonstration of both Soviet and Nazi symbolic is strictly prohibited in Lithuania and may be fined.

The customs officers proposed a young man to continue his trip by bus or by feet. The Porsche owner refused.
