North Korea leader tries to be closer to common people than his father did.
American edition Mother Jones identified a European-looking person who was captured while riding a roller coaster together with Kim Jong-un, the current North Korea ruler, in Pyongyan. Mother Jones claims the person to be a British diplomat Barnaby Jones.
Mr. Jones, who is the Chargé d’Affaires, accepted the invitation to visit North Korea’s amusemnt park together with top Pyongyang officials.
The British Foreign Monsistry said in its official responce that though the event is quite an unusual one, they have to closely cooperate with the officials of North Korea on numerous joint projects. Lenta.ru says.
The North Korea researchers call the photo an unusual as it, unlike many others depicting Korean leader in proximity with foreigners, is not fake. They also say Kim Jong-un wants to create image of a leader closer to people than his father, Kim Jong-il.
Kim Jong-un is said to start frequently appearing in public with his young wife due to this.
