KGB Finds 100kg of Explosive Near Polish Border

The explosives might have been prepared for illegal shipment to the EU countries.

Officers of Hrodna Regional Department of State Security Agency (KGB) found and eliminated cache of 96 kg of explosives in the Polish border region. The authority has learnt about the hideout from the locals during the operation “Arsenal”.

The cache was hidden in the border region four kilometers from the Belarusian-Polish border, stated the KGB.

The KGB pointed out that this area is known for multiple attempts of border crossing by illegal immigrants.

The KGB considers the explosives might have been prepared for illegal shipment to the EU countries.

At the moment law enforcement authorities investigate who might be implicated in the arrangement of the deadly hideout.
