Jan Ihnat is visiting from the country of Belarus sharing his cultural and education on tourism and agriculture hopes to learn about Agritourism in the Shenandoah Valley. Jan hopes to take his experiences home to Belarus and create a farm of his own featuring weddings on a working farm.
Studying the process of hosting events while maintaining the equestrian activities and boarding operation at Hermitage Hill Farm & Stables. Learning our target audience and how to reach those clients, entertaining tours while developing an inspiring take of life on a working farm. Developing a brand unique to the facility and carefully managing guests has many preparations from week to week to ensure successful events. Further exposures will include farm tours, architectural examples, business finance and management, local foods and agricultural entertainment mixed with education of guest visits.
Jan will return home this November to begin his entrepreneurial endeavor to create his own working farm hosting tourists in Belarus.
