The Russian Railroads company has suspended traffic on the Orenburg-Ilyetsk stretch following the missile explosion incident at a nearby polygon.
Rescuers have evacuated residents of the Donguz settlement who lived close to the site of the explosion. The missiles were stocked at the Donguz station and were due to be disposed of by the military.

The missiles, which were to be disposed of, are exploding at the Donguz railway station where they are usually deposited before being taken to the polygon, the source said.
The blasts at the military ground near Orenburg are posing no threat to the residents, he said.
