Belarusian Uladzimir Stralchenya took a world champion title in the four-storied training tower climbing (hook-ladders) at the VIII World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sports which are taking place in Antalya, Turkey on 18-20 October.
Representing the Gomel Oblast Department of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus Uladzimir Stralchenya made the climbing in 13.06 seconds. The third place was taken by Belarusian Dzmitry Siamak who was 0.5 seconds behind the winner.
The championship includes the following competitions: a 100-meter obstacle course, a firefighters relay-race, hook-ladders and a fire attack deployment. Partaking in the competitions are 200 best athletes from 20 countries.
