Belarusian customs officers during an ordinary borderline patrol detained a drunken Polish woodcutter who tried to attack them, BelTA says.
The woodcutter was harvesting timber in the border security zone as he had a special permission for this.
“While working, the woodcutter, 50, nipped from a bottle. He considered Belarusian customs officers alien persons in camouflage. He tried to attack servants and arrest them. The woodcutter was stopped at Belarusian border,” the State Customs Committee of Belarus says.
The woodcutter is currently taken into custody in Brest region.
