Forbes magazine published the ranking of the world's youngest billionaires for 2025. The list includes entrepreneurs under 40 years old. In total, the ranking features 71 individuals, and their combined capital reaches 218 billion dollars — a record figure since 2021.

The youngest billionaires are the three 22-year-old co-founders of the Mercor startup — Americans Adarsh Hiremath, Brandon Fujii, and Surya Midha.
They founded the company, which specializes in AI-powered talent acquisition, two years ago, and in October 2025, it was valued at 10 billion dollars. Each of the young entrepreneurs now has approximately 2.2 billion dollars, making them the world's youngest self-made billionaires.
Overall, most participants in the ranking made their money in the high-tech sector, as well as in finance and investments. However, success came not only thanks to artificial intelligence.
The richest self-made billionaire under 40 years old is 38-year-old American Edwin Chen — founder and CEO of AI startup Surge AI. His wealth is estimated at 18 billion dollars.
Second place went to 38-year-old Wang Ning, founder of the Chinese company Pop Mart International Group, whose capital is approximately 15.7 billion dollars. In 2025, Pop Mart's stock value significantly increased due to the growing popularity of its collectible toys.
