Ukraine and the USA May Sign $800 Billion Reconstruction Agreement in Davos

Ukraine and the USA may sign a "prosperity" agreement for the country's reconstruction at a meeting of world leaders in Davos, which envisages attracting $800 billion, writes The Telegraph, citing Western officials.
As The Telegraph writes, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US leader Donald Trump "are heading to the Swiss mountain resort, where they are expected to meet and finalize the agreement."
Zelenskyy intended to travel to the White House next week to conclude both an economic prosperity plan and a post-war security guarantee agreement.
However, his European allies from the "coalition of the determined" dissuaded him from this trip and proposed the World Economic Forum as a better platform for meeting with Trump.
The "prosperity" agreement envisages attracting $800 billion for Ukraine's reconstruction over 10 years.
"It is believed that this will open the way for a series of loans, grants, and investment opportunities from private companies to secure financing. Kyiv hopes that Washington's offer to participate in post-war reconstruction, especially in projects to which Trump may be favorable, will increase the US president's willingness to provide reliable security guarantees."
