Venezuelan Opposition Leader Says She Gave Her Nobel Medal to Trump
Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado presented her Nobel Peace Prize medal to US President Donald Trump during a meeting, Reuters reports .

Machado, however, did not directly answer journalists' questions about whether Trump accepted the award from her.
According to information from the White House press pool, the meeting between Machado and Trump, which took place on January 15, lasted more than two hours. Other details of the negotiations were not disclosed.
The US president himself, speaking at an event at the White House, did not mention his meeting with the Venezuelan opposition leader at all.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee stated on January 9 that after the announcement of the Nobel Prize, it cannot be revoked, divided, or transferred to another person.
