Ukrainian Drones Attacked a Gas Processing Plant in Samara Region Overnight
On the night of February 21, the Russian Samara region was attacked by Ukrainian drones. According to reports from Telegram channels Supernova and Exilenova+, the attack hit the Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant, which belongs to Rosneft and processes natural and associated petroleum gas.

Initially, there were reports of several fuel tanks catching fire. The fire also allegedly affected a neighboring oil stabilization enterprise.
Regional governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev stated that the attack targeted two industrial sites, with no casualties. The plant has been operating since 1967 and produces various types of fuel and gas products, with a design capacity of about 0.73 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
Previously, it was also reported that a plant in Votkinsk, located in Russia's Udmurtia and producing Iskander-M, Topol-M, and Oreshnik missiles, was hit late in the evening of February 20, possibly by a Ukrainian Flamingo missile.
According to the summary from the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the same night, air defense systems allegedly intercepted 77 drones over several regions of Russia, Crimea, and the Azov Sea, including five over the Samara region.
