A man's body was found in Svislach. It turned out to be Pavel Kalashnikau, who disappeared in late December
The body was found during a search operation around 11 a.m. today, March 3, by volunteers from the "Angel" squad. The squad confirmed that it was Pavel Kalashnikau, writes Onliner.by.

The body was lying near the bank on the surface of the water. Nearby are cafes, bars, and a skateboarding museum, located in the factory premises of MZOR.

— We divided into three groups. One surveyed the riverbed using special equipment, the other two examined the bank part of the Svislach. At some point, one of the volunteers noticed something similar to a black package. He pulled it with a long stick, and it turned out to be a jacket, and then it became clear that we had a human body in front of us, — one of the eyewitnesses told Onliner.

Pavel Kalashnikau disappeared on the night of December 26-27. The guy was relaxing at the Modul Art Platform nightclub, left for the street after five in the morning, and vanished.
— Thanks to surveillance cameras installed at neighboring establishments (special thanks for the provided recordings), it was possible to find out that Pavel, between 05:30 and 05:40 in the morning, left the club and headed towards the BSU dormitories, then approached the parking lot. Around 06:00, he turned around and went back to the club. His traces are lost there, — said Pavel Yakhimovich, head of the "Sirius" search and rescue team.
The search for Pavel was complicated by difficult weather conditions. Throughout January and February, volunteers combed the area, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and OSVOD broke the ice several times, but the missing person could not be found then. With the thaw, the searches were resumed.
