US intelligence learned about the start of mining the Strait of Hormuz
US intelligence has learned about Iran's plans to mine the Strait of Hormuz. According to data from CBS television, Iran is preparing to use small vessels for these purposes, each of which can carry two or three mines.

It is noted that the exact number of mines at Iran's disposal is unknown, but it could be 2-6 thousand units produced by Russia, China, and Iran itself.

More than 20% of all global oil and gas supplies pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
