Remember the Polish bunker on which the St. George ribbon was painted? Now it's adorned with Z-symbols
The fortification structure near Lyakhovichi, which was built in the interwar period to defend against the Red Army, has once again fallen victim to propagandistic "beautification". This time, not only official symbols, but also symbols of Russian aggression, have appeared on its walls.

Changes in the appearance of the reinforced concrete bunker, located right next to the P-4 highway between Baranovichi and Lyakhovichi and clearly visible from it, were noticed by the Telegram channel "Spadczyna".
On the walls of the bunker, unknown artists painted patriotic graffiti with a red-green state flag and a Russian-language inscription "Молодость, юность, единство" (Youth, youth, unity). However, the most striking detail was several Z-symbols, which are firmly associated with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

This long-term firing point was built by the Poles in 1937-1939 as part of the Baranovichi Fortified Region, in the system of fortifications on the Darava-Labuzy section (No. 10), along the left bank of the Shchara river. The main purpose of this defense line was to deter a possible offensive by the Red Army from the east.

Despite this, the bunker had already fallen into scandal when it began to be used for "Great Victory" propaganda.
In the spring of 2024, on the wall of the bunker, intended to repel Soviet troops, someone wrote "1941—1945" in large letters, drew a five-pointed star and a St. George ribbon. After appeals from outraged citizens, local authorities were forced to admit "historical inaccuracy". Olga Burak, then the chief ideologue of the district, promised to remove the inscriptions, citing the creativity of "unidentified individuals".

In the fresh photos, the same characteristic cracks in the concrete are clearly recognizable, and paint spots are visible — precisely in the places where the previous ideological inscriptions were located.
As we can see, the inscriptions were indeed painted over. However, the desire to turn Polish military heritage into an ideological billboard along the highway has not disappeared. Now, the historical object, built to defend against Moscow, is adorned with symbols of modern Russian militarism.
